“ Love their omelets and orangeade. Usually with a side of cottage fries. They don't open until 10am so perfect for a late breakfast ”
“ Cool little place on campus. Lots of choices on the menu. If you want to go back to the 50's and 60's, this is the place for you. ”
“ Love it, especially their chicken salad. Soda shop is always a dependable and reliable place to get a great lunch. ”
“ Have loved this place for decades!! Adore the vintage vibe with the old wooden booths, checkerboard tile floor, and steel counter stools. The menu is vintage, too, with classics like an Orange Creamsicle Float and a Brown Cow. Amazing menu also offers great choices for vegetarians ~ love the veggie burger! ”
“ so fun, cool vibes and nice staff. had such a good burger it almost brought tears to my eyes. I thought about it all day. thank you soda shop Update: just had another burger here. still banging ”
“ Blown away by some of these reviews..it's a diner. With diner food. Greasy food on paper plates with plastic ware. Perfection! Corned beef hash, sausage, scrambled eggs, and French toast under $10. Another reviewer said it was overpriced. $18 for breakfast for two with an egg cream and root beer float! Where are you getting your breakfast that this is spendy‽ Staff was super friendly, smiley even. They were very attentive and the food was served super hot! All while being packed. Ignore other reviews. My mother-in-law is visiting and said, "This is my favorite place so far." Good enough for that old southern woman, great for you. ”
“ Wow... I am really surprised this place has a three star rating. It was exactly what I hoping it was. An old diner/soda shop for the 1950s and it delivered! It is super cute inside and they still have the eat at counter, which is a rare find these days. The waitress was tentative and made great suggestions for our meal. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was great! I could have used a bit more Buffalo sauce but I didn't ask. The sandwich was nice and toasted on a hoagie bun. The wife had a Ruben and it was delicious per her opinion as I don't get down with Ruben's. The fries were okay, we had the curly and cottage variety. Next time we will go with our daughter and get a milkshake! I am sure she will love it and we are excited to go back for another round. ”
